Waffles with Caramelised Banana


Waffles are fast becoming a breakfast staple and we're all aboard that train! All you need is a waffle iron and our Pancake mix and hey presto you've got yourself some quick and easy wholefood waffles.

We love ours with caramelised banana, nut butter, a dash of maple syrup, all topped with yoghurt.

Gluten free, dairy free, refined sugar free.

What you'll need:

  • 1 x Hill St Wholefoods Pancakes
  • 3/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 4 tbsp coconut oil, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup


  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk to gather yoghurt, melted coconut oil, eggs and maple syrup. Fold in Hill St pancake mix until combined.

  • Cook on waffle iron for 2-3 minutes.

  • Top with your favourite toppings. As pictured - caramelised bananas, nut butter, maple syrup and coconut yogurt.

  • Tip: as you cook your waffles, put them on a wire rack to keep with fresh and crispy.
